Overview

Mission
The Operations Department for Anderson School District Four is dedicated to the effective operation of the schools and support sites for achieving student success.

Organization
The Operations Department is composed of Maintenance, Grounds, Custodial Services, and Capital Project and Construction Management.

Service
The Operations Department is charged with servicing over 620,000 square feet of facilities and the associated grounds maintenance of 7 campuses. Our responsibilities include maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, heating/ventilating systems, structural components, operating a computerized energy management system for all facilities, overall custodial cleaning, grounds, environmental and indoor air quality, managing and constructing or contracting for all work for capital improvement projects, and the remodeling and renovation of our educational and support facilities. Work orders are submitted, routed, assigned, and their progress monitored online through the use of a computerized work order program. During the course of an average year, our technicians complete approximately 800 to 1,000 work order requests from the six schools and the district office.
